Doctor Strange already has a pretty good cast, but now it might even be getting more phenomenal.
Benedict Cumberbatch and Rachel McAdams are already part of Marvel’s Doctor Strange, and they picked up another solid actor.
Entertainment Weekly reported Michael Stuhlbarg is in talks to join the film as well. The movies is directed by Scott Derrickson and the story follows neurosurgeon-turned-sorcerer Stephen Strange, played by Cumberbatch.
Strange is a cocky surgeon who loses the use of his hands, and while attempting to heal himself, discovers magic.
Stuhlbarg is currently on the big screen in the very successful Jobs as Andy Hertzfeld will appear in the biopic Trumbo along with Bryand Cranston. According to The Hollywood Reporter, his role in Doctor Strange is being kept quiet.
This will be his first venture into the comic book world. He is typically in dramas like the Coen Brothers A Serious Man and HBO’s Boardwalk Empire. Filming for Doctor Strange is set to start sometime in December and the film is planned for a November 4, 2016 release date.
