On the Nov. 10 episode of The Originals, Elijah tries to save Rebekah and Hayley from the Strix, while Klaus tries to figure out what side Aurora is working for.
Freya visits Rebekah through magic. Rebekah tells her she’s met a witch who might be able to bring Kol back. After Freya returns home, Aya breaks in and slits Rebekah’s throat.
Klaus and Elijah are no longer fighting. Elijah tells Freya that Lucien and Tristan are working together. The Mikaelson men plan on killing their first sired to take care of the problem.
Detective Kinney has Cami in custody. He tells her if she can prove she’s the victim, he’ll protect her. Lucien throws Kinney aside and knocks Camille out.
Hayley sees someone trailing her. She leads him down an alley and attacks him from behind. They fight and she bites him.
Elijah says Lucien and Tristan are bent on revenge because Elijah compelled them and Aurora to think they were Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah. He sent them running from Mikael. When the real Mikaelsons were daggered a century later, the compulsion wore off. Freya feels ill and realizes Rebekah is in trouble.
Cami wakes up in Lucien’s apartment. The room is full of her magical artifacts collection. Kinney has been compelled to do everything Lucien asks. Lucien threatens Cami by having Kinney throw a knife at her head, then asks her to help him find a certain artifact to use against Klaus.
Freya tries to send a message to Rebekah, but can’t which makes her realize that Rebekah’s witch body is dead. Rebekah wakes in her real body in her coffin. Aya and her men fight Rebekah.
When Cami won’t look for the relic, Lucien has Kinney slice open an artery on his own ankle. Lucien will only heal him if Cami finds the artifact.
Klaus finds Aurora in town and takes her to lunch to question her about her loyalties. Aurora tells Klaus when the compulsion ended, she, Tristan and Lucien lost their sense of self and swore a pact to each other to kill the Mikaelsons. She assures him, however, that she’s not his enemy.
Freya tracks Rebekah with Elijah’s blood. Rebekah is still fighting Aya. Freya appears and uses magic to snap all the Strix vampires’ necks. She tells Rebekah to run.
Cami tries to approach Kinney to stop his bleeding, but he’s been compelled to kill her if she tries to help. Kinney realizes Cami’s brother was forced to cause the massacre after getting mixed up in the supernatural world. He says if he dies, Cami should contact his sister. She says she’ll find the leverage they need to save him.
Hayley brings her attacker to Marcel’s gym. He’s Shen Min, a torture consultant for Genghis Khan.
Freya asks Elijah to go to Rebekah to convince her to run. He gets a call from Marcel about Shen Min. He tells Marcel to kill him immediately, before Min wakes.
Elijah and Freya go to Rebekah through magic. Rebekah says she won’t leave without the spell for Kol. Elijah tells her about Chen Min. Rebekah yells at him to go save Marcel and Hayley, but he makes her promise she’ll come home first.
Shen Min wakes. Hayley says if he talks, she might help him heal the bite. He breaks free of his restraints. Marcel and Hayley fight him, but he reaches into their chests to pull out their hearts. Before he can do it, Elijah stakes him.
Rebekah tells Freya she won’t leave without the spell which is only a few streets away. Freya agrees to go with her.
Aurora says she never stopped having feelings for Klaus and accuses him of forgetting her. He shows her a room in his home which used to be his studio. Behind the false wall is a painting of Aurora. He made the room her shrine by trying to paint away the memories. Aurora kisses him.
Elijah puts Shen Min in a chair and compels him to tell him why he was trailing Hayley. Min wants to kill her because she is an obstacle for getting to Davina, who Tristan wants to activate a weapon against the Mikaelsons. Rather than tell Elijah what the weapon is, he removes his daylight ring and burns in the sunlight.
Cami tells Lucien if he heals Kinney, she’ll give him the relic. He gives Kinney his blood and Cami hands him a small sculpture, telling him it’s inside. When Lucien grabs the statue, it hurts him, but he stops Cami before she can stake him. Lucien threatens to make Kinney slit his throat unless she gives him the real artifact. She gives in.
At a witch’s shop, Rebekah finds the spell, but the witch is missing. Freya sees spell components laid out around the room and tells Rebekah they need to leave. The witch comes in with Aya and burns Kol’s spell. The witch attacks Rebekah with magic and sends Freya back home. Aya stabs Rebekah with a stake that puts her to sleep. She takes the body back to New Orleans.
Lucien compels Kinney to be a failure in life, to hate himself and know he’s nothing compared to the supernatural. Cami begs Lucien to fix it. He says he’ll compel her too, when the vervain is out of her system.
Elijah tells Hayley they won’t let the Strix take their home. Freya comes in and says they need to call Klaus about Rebekah. Klaus gets the call with Aurora in his bed. She tells him Lucien’s artifact can make an unbreakable boundary where he and Tristan plan to trap the Mikaelsons forever. Aurora, however, sent two of her men to help retrieve Rebekah. They disposed of Tristan’s men and took possession of Rebekah’s body. Aurora says she’s safe.
