Saturday night, at UFC 193, Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey will defend her title against Holly Holm. Interestingly enough though, the two decided to kick off the fight a little early at Friday's official weigh-in.
According to CBS Sports, during the weigh-in Rousey got in Holm's face leading to Holm hitting Rousey in the jaw. Dana White had to step in to seperate the two.
White has since blamed himself for the altercation, telling Submission Radio "Ronda went after her and it seemed like they were jockeying for position, either on the outside or whatever and then Holly’s hand was here and then just, Holly just hit her. And then it was on. But there’s no – it’s my job to make sure that that doesn’t happen and that they don’t put their hands on each other, and apparently I didn’t do my job today."
Both fighters go into the event undefeated (Rousey 12-0 and Holm 9-0) but Rousey's recent bouts haven't made it past the first round. She defeated Cat Zingano back in February in a record breaking 14 seconds and Beth Correia back in August in 34 seconds.
