TBS is trying out a bizarre and unique way to launch Angie Tribeca, the police procedural comedy starring Rashida Jones, including a 25-hour marathon of the show's first 10 episodes.

The 25-hour marathon, which will give viewers a chance to binge-watch the first season five times consecutively, will start on Sunday, Jan. 17 at 9 p.m. Each episode also be available on TBS.com, TBS’ mobile app and TBS On Demand.

TBS has also ordered 10 more episodes to be produced and will start airing those on Jan. 25 at 9:30 p.m. They will be followed by repeats of one of the first 10 episodes.

Angie Tribeca is a police procedural comedy created by Steve Carell and Nancy Carell. It stars Rashida Jones in the title role and Hayes MacArthur as her partner, J. Giles. (Yes, the character's name is J. Giles. The show is filled with funny character names.) The showrunner is Ira Ungerleider, who also worked on Friends.

“The challenge on this show is restraint,” Ungerleider said at New York Comic-Con last month. “We’re doing a serious cop show. That’s how we approach it, like we are doing Law & Order. We are doing CSI. We are doing Homicide, The Wire. We approach it as if we’re doing a very gritty cop show, torn from the headlines, ripped from the streets.”
