To the excitement of many, Saturday Night Live announced via Twitter on Tuesday that Amy Poehler and Tina Fey will co-host the show on Dec. 19.

Both are former SNL cast members and will be making the rounds to promote their new film Sisters. Poehler and Fey have made multiple guest appearances on the show in the past, including the infamous Sarah Palin and Hilary Clinton spoof.

The two will not be alone, however, as they will be joined by musical guest, the rock and roll legend Bruce Springsteen, Us Weekly reports.

Poehler was a featured SNL cast member from 2001 to 2008 while Fey joined as a writer in 1997 before becoming the co-anchor of the Weekend Update desk from 2000-2006 before leaving to produce 30 Rock.

The two comedians are co-starring in the upcoming film Sisters, which is set for release Dec. 18. The film centers around two very different sisters who decide to throw one last house party at their childhood  home before their parents sell it.
