Paramount surprised everyone on Nov. 18 by releasing the trailer to the upcoming Zoolander 2 movie. The project has long been in the works, and beyond a teaser, it looks fully fleshed out now.
While the original wasn’t a hit upon its early 2000s release, it grew a cult following over the past decade. As a result, a sequel eventually came about, and the trailer shows many familiar faces have returned.
It appears that both Ben Stiller’s and Owen Wilson’s characters have been out of the industry for some time and are planning a comeback. At the same time, they’re fighting Mugatu (Will Ferrell), who’s attempting to kill the world’s most beautiful people. The movie also stars Benedict Cumberbatch as an androgynous model and is scheduled to hit theaters on Feb. 12.
