The world’s getting ready for another massive release from One Direction. Titled Made in the A.M., their fifth album is set to drop on Nov. 13 on Columbia Records and Syco.
But the release marks a turning point for 1D. It’s their first album without Zayn Malik, who departed the then-quintet earlier in 2015. Then, later this year, members announced plans to go on hiatus. Some surmise that Harry Styles might go solo – and rival Zayn’s success – or they might just take a break from their constant touring and recording schedule.
But as everyone prepares for MITAM, it has a fair amount of hype to live up to. First, The Mirror reported on a track leak earlier this week. Then, there’s the fact that, in the U.K. particularly, practically every single they have ever recorded landed in the top 10. They’ve done all right in the U.S., too, with many top 40-ranking tracks.
