Taylor Swift has taken over the music industry. Swift has proven that it doesn't matter if she is playing country or pop music, she can still take over the charts and sell out stadiums around the world with her thousands of devoted fans.
Swift released 1989 back in late October and it came as a shock to some fans because the sound was so different. It was a complete pop album and 1989 appeared to have left her original country/pop inspired behind. Despite the change, it still felt like a Swift album with catchy lyrics and complex melodies, which helped to make the transition easier. Fans recognized that this was Swift developing her sound and growing up in her career. Instead of rejecting the change, fans embraced it with open arms.
Now that Swift has kicked off her 1989 World Tour, TheCelebrityCafe.com is counting down the top ten Swift singles. From country classics like “Mine” and “Sparks Fly” to pop hits such as, “Shake It Off” and “Blank Space,” Swift really can do it all. Have you seen the 1989 tour? What did you think?
