This year has undoubtedly been a very special and unforgettable one for Amy Schumer as she was named 2015’s most intriguing person and a THR Power 100 honoree.
In an interview with People Magazine, the publication’s choice for Most Intriguing Person of the Year talked about what she felt her biggest moment was over the past 12 months.
“Hosting Saturday Night Live was the highlight of my year,” she revealed. “It was a dream come true.”
Schumer also spoke on the subject of gun control which is something very close to heart after a man killed two people in a Louisiana movie theater during her film Trainwreck.
“I’m not sure why this man chose my movie to end those two beautiful lives and injure nine others, but it was very personal for me,” she said. “Enough is enough. These shootings have got to stop. I don’t know how else to say it.”
In addition to the honor by People, the comedienne was also picked by The Hollywood Reporter as one of 2015’s Women in Entertainment Power 100.
