A drunken, foul-mouthed Santa Claus is returning to theaters just in time for Christmas 2016. Miramax and Broad Green Pictures announced today that Bad Santa 2 will open in November.

The new film, which will be directed by Mean Girls’ Mark Waters, will hit theaters on Nov. 23, 2016, notes TheWrap.

Billy Bob Thornton already signed on to play the perpetually drunk conman Willie Soke and Tony Cox will be back to play Marcus. Kathy Bates was cast as Willie’s mother, even though she’s only seven years older than Thornton in real life.

The script was written by Johnny Rosenthal, Shauna Cross and Doug Ellin.

The original 2003 Bad Santa has become a cult hit for anyone looking for a really raunchy movie to watch on Christmas. It was written by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, who have gone on to direct Crazy Stupid Love and Focus. It was directed by Terry Zwigoff and earned Thornton a Golden Globe nomination.
