It was a happy day for Bella Thorne when she got her license on Thursday. Not only did she pass her test, but she also overcame a fear she had of driving after her father was killed in a motorcycle accident.

Thorne had a major fear of getting behind the wheel ever since her father’s passing in 2007. She opened up in an interview with ET Online earlier this year and explained that she didn’t drive and her mom was pretty much her chauffeur.

"I have a fear of driving and so I still don't drive," the actress admitted at the time. "I don't have a permit. I'm best friends with my mom, so she kind of just takes me everywhere. She was like, 'Bella, get a car and once you get a car you'll like want to drive and want to drive your car.' So I get a car [but] I'm perfectly content watching her drive it."

But since that interview, the 18-year-old got her permit, passed her driving test and most importantly conquered her fear.

She shared the accomplishments with her fans and posted a photo via Twitter after she passed the test.
