On this week’s The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon realizes he is humming a song, but he cannot figure out what it is.
To try and figure it out, Sheldon calls the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame so he can hum the song to them. They do not have a pleasant exchange.
Sheldon thinks he is crazy and becoming forgetful. He decides to make videos for future Sheldon so he can help himself remember everything.
Sheldon plays his keyboard, trying to figure out the song. He continues to do this into the night when Penny and Leonard try to sleep. Penny gets out of bed and steals the keyboard. Sheldon then resorts to using his tuba.
Meanwhile, Amy calls Dave and asks him out again despite their last awkward date. Dave accepts her dinner invitation.
Amy talks to Bernadette about her date with Dave. Bernadette thinks it is a big step that Amy invited him over to her place. Amy thinks that maybe she needs an intimate relationship. Bernadette doesn’t think that Dave should be Amy’s first because he is 6’ 7”. She tells her it is like taking your drivers test in a bus.
The next day during dinner, Sheldon starts talking about smart people that ended up going crazy. One of the people he lists is Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys. This triggers Sheldon’s brain and he remembers that it was one of their songs named "Darling."
Sheldon reads the lyrics and realizes that it is stuck in his head because it reminds him of Amy. He runs over to see Amy, who still has Dave over. Sheldon tells Amy that he loves her. Dave, who is a big fan of Sheldon, cheers him on in the background and is excited to be in his presence. He insists that they kiss and he eventually leaves them to be alone, calling it a wonderful night.
In tonight’s subplot, Raj reveals to Howard that he set up a Facebook page for their band, Footprints on the Moon. Howard gets upset that he did this without talking to him. He quickly gets over it however when Raj tells him that someone joined their page and left a nice comment.
Raj decides that they should reply to a comment from their fan, Trent. They look at the guy’s page and finds out that he seems pretty cool. They start to become a fan of his. They notice on his page that he is going to be at a coffee shop, so they decide they should go. Bernadette thinks they are stalking him.
They show up at the coffee shop and watch Trent from afar. They watch him, waiting for him to notice them. While they are watching him, they see that he picks his nose and eats it. They quickly leave the coffee shop. On their way out, Trent recognizes them. Raj and Howard rush out and deny that they are the band.
