Blake Shelton doesn’t want his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, to leave The Voice next season, to make way for original judge Christina Aguilera.
In a new interview with Extra, Stefani, Shelton, Adam Levine and Pharrell showed just how much fun they’ve been having working together and expressed their sadness that the No Doubt frontwoman only has a few more shows left.
“I don’t want Gwen to not be on the show,” Shelton said. “Why can't we have a fifth coach?”
When Stefani was asked who she will miss the most out of the three boys, she sarcastically replied, “I wonder.” But added, “it's the combination, it's the chemistry.”
“I'm already so devastated that I only have three more outfits to wear — and that I'm not gonna be around these guys. It's hurting me,” she continued.
Stefani and Shelton confirmed their relationship last month following their divorce announcements from Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert.
