It appears Gwyneth Paltrow isn’t too bothered by the recent robbery at her brand new Goop pop-up store in New York City. According to her mom, Blythe Danner, she thinks it’s actually good for the brand.

As we previously reported, three men managed to steal $173,000 worth of merchandise this past weekend while the staff was in the store.

“I called her immediately,” Danner told Page Six while attending the New York Women in Film & Television luncheon at the Hilton. “And she said, ‘Oh, Mom, it’s OK. It’s good publicity.’”

In a statement at the time, a spokesperson for Goop confirmed the theft. “While the store was crowded during one of our busiest days, thankfully the NYPD responded quickly, our customers and staff are safe, and we remain open for business with proper security precautions in place,” said the rep.

Goop Mrkt has only been open for about two weeks. It's located in New York's Time Warner Center.

"She always has a good spin on things, and I admire her tenacity and her upbeat message,” Danner added.
