Barbara Walters’ 10 Most Fascinating People special aired on Thursday night, revealing Caitlyn Jenner as 2015’s most fascinating person.
Jenner’s transition from the Olympic champion Bruce Jenner, to transgender activist Caitlyn Jenner made her the year’s most talked about person.
"If you found yourself unable to take your eyes of Caitlyn Jenner this year, you weren’t alone," Walters explained. "Through her own transformation, [she] transformed society this year and that, for us, makes her the most fascinating person of 2015."
Jenner made her glamorous debut as Caitlyn on the cover of Vanity Fair in June after her groundbreaking interview with Diane Sawyer, during which she announced her plans to transition after months of rumors.
In October, Jenner announced a speaking tour called Up Close and Personal, which will begin on Feb. 22. The tour will focus the theme of transgender acceptance.
Also included on Walters' Most Fascinating list was Bradley Cooper, who she told was "very screwable," Tracy Morgan, Amy Schumer and ballerina Misty Copeland.
