Chris Brown has been forced to cancel tour dates in Australia and New Zealand due to his visa being denied because of his past criminal convictions.

Brown’s One Hell of a Night tour promoter confirmed what officials warned back in September, the “Loyal” singer isn’t allowed to enter the two countries.

Shows scheduled for Dec. 9-16 in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, Australia as well as Auckland, New Zealand are canceled, but his promoter said in a statement they hope to reschedule at some point.

"Mr. Brown and the promoters both remain positive that the tour will take place in the near future," the statement said, Billboard reports. "Mr. Brown wishes to express his deepest gratitude to the fans for their support and looks forward to a successful tour in the near future."

These aren’t the first countries to deny Brown entry because of his 2009 domestic violence charge on his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Britain and Canada have also refused him in the past.
