CNN's Poppy Harlow was going about her normal broadcast on Monday morning when she fainted during the middle of a report. Harlow is currently pregnant with a little girl.
People reported that Harlow was discussing a survey that showed many Americans were dissatisfied with how issues involving terrorism in the Middle East were being handled. Halfway through her report, she started to slur her words and trailed off mid-speech.
Viewers of the program quickly took to Twitter to ask if Harlow was alright after the video cut to black. Harlow did return on camera and addressed the concerned viewers. "For all of you on twitter who are asking if I'm okay, thank you so much," she said. "I got a little hot and I passed out for a moment. I am fine. We're going to take a quick break. We'll be right back."
She also took to Twitter to thank the team at CNN for helping her and provided an update from the hospital. "Update from the hospital," wrote Harlow. "Our little girl due this spring is doing just fine. Was a scare but we are both ok. Thank you all so much!
