Countess Vaughn and Brandy Norwood were on-screen best friends on Moesha, but they had a contentious relationship in real life. Fast forward almost 20 years later, the actress is apologizing to Norwood in an open letter on Instagram.

In the lengthy letter, she apologized for anything “negative” she’s said or done to her fellow actress and former co-star.

“Im not perfect,” she wrote, “no where near it..I care about your life and your happiness. I wouldn’t do what I did if I didn’t. I care about you as a person. We are spiritual siblings, you and I."

Norwood revealed specific details about their feud to Vibe in 1998, saying Countess Vaughn told her she was a “b-tch” to her face, Us Weekly reports. She recalled at the time, “She said, 'I’m the reason why the show is successful, bitch.' In front of a lot of people.”

“It means a lot to me... I apologize for anything Negative I've ever done are said to you,” Vaughn continued. “Sorry this had to be on social media , I just want the world to see that I've grown out of my comfort zone.”

It appears they had a nice chat, because Norwood thanked Vaughn publicly in a Facebook post. “Countess Vaughn we still here!!!” she wrote “Thank you again for your heart yesterday.”
