Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid have reportedly ended their engagement.

People Magazine confirmed the news today. A source told the site that, “They’ve been having problems for a long time.”

The split was first reported by TMZ, which claimed that McDaid already moved his stuff out of Cox’s Malibu and Los Angeles homes. The site claims that they clashed over lifestyle choices, but after trying counseling, they decided to call off the engagement.

The former Friends star and the Snow Patrol guitarist became engaged in June 2014 after dating for six months. The two announced their engagement on Twitter.

Cox, 51, and McDaid, 39, were last seen together at Jennifer Aniston’s wedding to Justin Theroux in August. Cox was the maid of honor at her former Friends co-star’s wedding.

Cox was married to actor David Arquette from 1999 to 2013. She has a daughter with Arquette, 11-year-old Coco. The actress was last seen on TV in Cougar Town and recently directed the Seann William Scott film Just Before I Go. She’s currently filming next year’s Mothers Day.
