Cookie’s got herself a new beau! Maybe.
People noted that Empire actress Taraji P. Henson was spotted Monday in Miami holding hands with former Chicago Bears cornerback Kelvin Hayden.
Henson and Hayden were photographed walking hand in hand along the beach in the day and later a source told US Weekly that they went on a romantic dinner date at the posh steakhouse Prime 112.
Hayden is 13 years Henson’s junior. The 45-year-old star has a 20-year-old son with her high school sweetheart William Lamar Johnson, who was murdered in 1997.
When it comes to her type Henson said she wants someone who is "funny, has personality, he doesn't take himself too seriously. He needs to be confident in who he is, confident to let me be who I am. And let me shine, you know? My light is only going to enhance his light."
Henson of course plays Cookie on FOX’s hit show which is returning in March and films in Chicago where Hayden is from. The defensive back previously played for the Indianapolis Colts as well as the Bears and is currently a free agent.
