First Lady, Michelle Obama, is showcasing her rapping skills in support of the White House’s Better Make Room campaign.

Along with Saturday Night Live’s Jay Pharoah, who often plays President Obama on the sketch comedy show, she urges young people to go to college and take the right steps toward a successful career and life.

In the College Humor video, Mrs. Obama and Pharoah advise teens between the ages of 14 and 19 that getting an education is the first step on the path to success.

"South Side Chicago, we all know, we had to do overtime every night to make it to tomorrow,” she raps about the couple’s roots. “And everyone could really make their dream come true. Hey kid listening in Michigan, this could be you."

The Better Make Room campaign strives to help young people take important steps in their life, as in getting a “better education, have a better career, imagine a better future and live a better life.”
