The first half of Gotham’s second season might be over, but the producers for the show isn’t taking any time off. They cast Michael Bowen and Lori Petty for roles in upcoming episodes.

Bowen’s casting was first reported by ComicBook.com. The Lost and Breaking Bad veteran will play Patrick “Matches” Malone, who could be the killer of Bruce Wayne’s parents. After all, Silver (Natalie Alyn Lind) told Bruce (David Mazouz) that that his parents’ murder was named “M. Malone.”

In the comics, Batman used Malone’s identity after the career criminal died so he could infiltrate Gotham’s crime world. It doesn’t look like that’s how Malone will be used in Gotham of course.

Variety reported that Petty (Tank Girl, Orange is the New Black will play Jeri, the hostess of a club where murder is celebrated. Considering that there is a lot of murder on Gotham, she’ll have a lot to celebrate. Petty will make her debut in the 14th episode of the season.

The second half of the season will also feature B.D. Wong as Hugo Strange.
