Natalie Portman is currently filming a new movie about Jackie Kennedy and the first photo from the set was released.
Portman will star in Jackie, which is being directed by Pablo Larrain (No) and produced by her Black Swan director, Darren Aronofsky. Protozoa Pictures, which is Aronofsky's production company, released the photo this week.
In the photo, Portman is standing in the White House.
Jackie will co-star Peter Sarsgaard as Robert Kennedy and Beth Grant as Lady Bird Johnson. Max Casella and Greta Gerwig also star. The script was written by Noah Oppenheim (The Maze Runner) and centers on the days after President John F. Kennedy’s assassination in 1963.
Jackie is expected to hit theaters. In the meantime, you can catch Portman in the Western Jane Got A Gun, which opens on Jan. 29.
