The hot gift for Christmas 2015 was those CyBoard hoverboards, which don’t actually hover. Since they became a sensation, videos of people falling off of them have also become sensations and now Mike Tyson is joining them on the floor.
The retired boxer posted a video of himself on Instagram with his hoverboard. At first, he seems comfortable on it, but as he comes forward, he falls flat on his back.
So, why would such an accomplished athlete post a video of him embarrassing himself? Well, he made sure to call out the company that makes the hoverboards, CyBoard, which then reposted Tyson’s video on their Instagram page.
The boards, which are really just Segways without a control stick, have become controversial in recent days because of reports that they have been setting on fire thanks to their batteries. Amazon has pulled them from their site and some airlines have refused to allow passengers to bring them on flights. (That got Russell Crowe really angry this week.)
