The brother-in-law of Chicago Bears quarterback and sibling of television personality Kristin Cavallari, who was reported missing a few days ago, has been found dead.
E! News noted that the former reality star confirmed the grim news in statement that her brother Michael’s body was found.
"We want to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers during this very difficult time," Cavallari said. "We have just been informed by the authorities my brother's body has been found. This is a very painful time and we are still processing it all. We kindly ask everyone please respect our privacy during our time of grieving."
As we previously reported, Michael had been missing since Nov. 27 when his car was found abandoned in Grand County, Utah, which is located several hundred miles from his California home. The engine was still running and an airbag had been deployed but there was no sign of the 30-year-old.
Over the past few days news broke that Michael had a criminal history and just yesterday investigators theorized that they believe he may not want to be found.
The exact details of the spot where his body was discovered, what condition it was in and how he might have passed have not been released.
