The film Wakefield already has Bryan Cranston as a star and today we know who his co-star is.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Jennifer Garner will play Cranston’s wife in Wakefield, with Robin Swicord directing and writing the project.
Variety reports that filming has already started in Los Angeles. The story follows a man who unexpectedly leaves his wife for an extended period of time. The film is based off a short story of the same name written by E.L. Doctorow, who got the idea from the original story which was penned by Nathaniel Hawthorne.
The movie will focus around Cranston who suffers a nervous breakdown after seeing a raccoon in his attic. He eventually spends around nine months living in his attic. He will have fights with his wife and get romantically involved with a younger woman.
Garner can next be seen in Robbie Brenner’s The Tribes of Palos Verdes, Columbia’s “Miracles from Heaven”, as well as Barry Sonnenfeld’s Nine Lives.
Cranston will star in a film called Trumbo and can be seen in a drama called The Infiltrator.
