Jennifer Lawrence told Seth Meyers about a crush she had on him a few years ago and even revealed she almost asked him about before finding out he was engaged.
Lawrence met Meyers when she hosted Saturday Night Live in 2013, when Meyers was working on the show. At the time, the Late Night host was engaged to his wife, Alexi Ashe.
“I had a really big crush on you, and so I had this whole plan,” she told him on his show on Tuesday night, adding, “I had created the romance in my head because I'm delusional.”
She then shared her plans to give him her number to the “wardrobe lady,” who had to break her the news. “She was like, 'Honey, he's engaged,’” she recalled.
"It's safe because it worked out," Meyers said. "I married that lady." Meyers and his wife announced they're expecting their first child last month.
Lawrence then went on to reveal another celebrity crush – Larry David. Meyers joked, "I'm feeling a little less awesome about the crush.”
