Jennifer Lawrence chatted with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show on Monday night, where she told the late night talk show host about a nightmare she had about her home state of Kentucky.
While she no longer has the accent, she told Colbert that she dreamt she couldn’t get rid of it while on set of a movie she was filming.
“I had a dream the other night that I had a Southern accent, and I couldn’t get out of it. I was on set, and I was like, ‘I can’t get out of my accent, I don’t know why,’” she said. “My accent came back.”
The Joy star went on to say she “lost it when I was a teenager,” but there are certain times it does come back.
“I’m told by boyfriends when I’m yelling, and then probably maybe when I’m drinking,” she said.
