Jessa Seewald is sharing home footage from the birth of her son Spurgeon Elliott on her TLC spin-off show Jill & Jessa: Counting On.
Seewald and her husband, Ben Seewald, welcomed their first child last month after she underwent an intense two days of labor. In the clip, obtained by People, Seewald is 20 hours into labor and in a lot of pain.
Her sister, Jana Duggar, tells the cameras the first-time mom was "quite the trouper” and praised Ben for remaining constantly by her side to comfort his wife.
She said Ben “has been right beside her, cheering her on the whole time." Their mom, Michelle Duggar, also praised him, saying he "was just solid – he stuck by [Jessa's] side" the whole time.
