Jon Stewart continued his surprising return to television this week by making an appearance on The Late Show to reunite with his former Comedy Central mate Stephen Colbert.

Stewart interrupted Colbert’s monologue to help his chosen cause, which is trying to convince Congress to pass the Zadroga Act to renew health benefits for 9/11 first responders. Colbert interrupted him though, noting how boring his speech was.

So, Colbert told Stewart that he needed to “Trump-it-up” to get the media’s attention. He gave the former Daily Show host a Trump wig to wear while he made his speech. It was still boring though, so Colbert gave Stewart orange skin by spreading Cheetos crumbs on his face.

Stewart also showed up on The Daily Show this week to also make his plea to Congress to convince them to pass the Zadroga Act.

This isn’t the last time we will hear from Stewart, of course. Next year, he starts working with HBO.
