Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are welcoming home a brand new member of the family today.
Kardashian West gave birth to a baby boy this morning, as was announced on her website and app. No further details have been released, but the website notes that both mother and son are doing well.
This birth came about three weeks before the due date of December 25, but it wasn't entirely unexpected. Just last night, Kardashian West put up an Instagram post with the caption "Ready whenever you are lol." Before that, West noted that they expected the child "any day now," as we previously reported.
We don't know the name of the child yet, and in fact the couple had not decided as of December 3. A source at US Weekly explained, "They are asking everyone they know for ideas! Kim and Kanye are both calling everyone and constantly asking for ideas.” This was the case with their first child as well, as they did not pick the name North until a week after the birth.
And before you suggest South as a potential name, the couple has already said they won't be going in that direction.
“I think it’s so stupid,” Kardashian West said. “I don’t like South West. North will always be better.”
