Kim Kardashian has revealed her baby is no longer breech after undergoing a painful procedure this past weekend.
She updated her fans in a blog post on her website on Tuesday, saying her doctors were able to successfully turn her son in a procedure called an external cephalic version (ECV).
Now that her son is in the “head-down position,” which is the correct position for child birth, “it feels so good to not have the stress of thinking I need a C-section.”
"They gave me an IV with medication to relax my uterus, and then three doctors attempted to work together to turn the baby," she explained. "There was a risk that my water might break or the baby's heart rate could drop—in which case, an emergency C-section would then take place. I went in with my sisters and my husband. I was prepared for it all!”
Kardashian has previously addressed her son being breech in a blog post, saying she would do “everything I can” to change the circumstances.
She proved she was serious about that, adding, "They don't give you any pain medication, and let me tell you: This was soooooo painful. Probably more painful than childbirth. BUT it worked!!!"
