It’s always nice to hear about the good that a lot of athletes do from time to time and on Tuesday evening, LeBron James greeted and gave a gift to the Special Olympics MVP.
USA Today noted that 16-year-old Aaron Miller was recognized during halftime of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics game as the MVP of the Special Olympics and James sought him out.
As seen in the video clip below, the four-time NBA MVP greeted Miller who was all smiles.
James took notice that Miller was wearing a pair of Nike Zoom Soldier 8 Flyease, which are shoes designed by the athlete specifically for people with disabilities. And after the game, James gave Miller the sneakers off his own feet.
Miller was born with brain damage and told that he would be physically and mentally paralyzed for his entire life. But after many surgeries and lots of physical therapy, he now competes on his high school’s golf and basketball teams.
