X-Men director Bryan Singer’s sexual assault accuser, Michael Egan, has been sentenced to jail time for securities fraud.

Egan dropped the sexual assault lawsuit against Singer last year after several holes were found in the case. However, he isn’t going to jail for the Singer case.

According to TMZ, Egan is now going to jail for two years on fraud charges for stealing around $300,000 from at least 14 victims who believed they were investing into legitimate causes. Their money was really stolen by Egan, who used it for personal use.

Egan was dropped by his attorney for not accepting a $100,000 settlement from Singer last year and he eventually withdrew the case. He initially accused the famed director of sexual abuse when he was a teenager in Hawaii in the 1990s. He also accused several other Hollywood executives of assault, which were all dismissed as well.
