If there are already too many shows and movies on Netflix for you, start worrying. It will only get worse.

During the UBS Media Conference in New York on Monday, Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos said that the streaming service will nearly double the number of original programs available to subscribers. There will be 31 scripted shows in 2016, up from 16 in 2015.

In addition, there will be 30 kids shows, 12 documentaries and 10 stand-up specials. Ten more films are also in development to follow the success of Beasts of No Nation.

“It’s not just a lot of volume. This is quality stuff,” Sarandos said.

While Netflix struck gold with Orange is the New Black and House of Cards, the 2015 shows have been hits with both critics and audiences. Aziz Ansari’s Master of None, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt with Ellie Kemper and the Marvel shows Daredevil and Jessica Jones have all been instant hits.

But how big are their audiences? Well, we will never know specific viewer numbers because Sarandos said that Netflix still will not release ratings. If investors want to see how well Netflix’s original shows are doing, they can check the total number of subscribers, Sarandos said.

“Our shows are among the most-viewed shows on television” is all Sarandos would say.
