Not many actors can ask for an amazing day like this. Just after earning Golden Globe nominations, Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda’s Grace and Frankie has been renewed for a third season.

Grace and Frankie was quickly renewed for a second season after the sitcom’s first season was posted on Netflix. While season two still hasn’t been posted, Deadline reports that production on season three is already starting.

The series stars a quartet of seasoned Hollywood veterans. Tomlin and Fonda star as two very different women who learn that their husbands are in love with each other. Their husbands are played by Sam Waterston and Martin Sheen.

Earlier today, Tomlin was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance in the series and she was also nominated for an Emmy. Fonda also got some great news today, receiving a Golden Globe nomination for her supporting part in Youth.

Grace and Frankie was created by Marta Kauffman (Friends) and Howard J. Morris (Home Improvement). Season one is now available on Netflix.
