Nicki Minaj testified at her boyfriend Meek Mill’s parole hearing in Philadelphia on Thursday, where she told the judge she would help keep him on the right track.
Mill faced going to jail after breaking parole by changing his travel schedule several times, which was court-mandated. He’s on parole for a 2009 drug and gun case.
“She's not going to be the one sleeping alone if he goes to jail. I am," Minaj said before Judge Genece Brinkley about Mill’s parole officer when trying to explain the influence she might have over his future decisions, Daily News reports.
"He's not perfect, but I can't believe how much he's changed,” she continued.
“He doesn't have a lot of structure. He can be irresponsible," she also said. "Since I've come in his life, I think I've been working on that a little bit. ... He's just getting accustomed to being an adult."
Earlier this week, Minaj showed off a massive diamond ring from Mill, which is her second one since they started dating. But she told Billboard they’re “not engaged,” he just promised her three rings before he gives her the real one.
