Noel Gallagher is giving his true opinion on Adele’s music and he’s not holding back. The Oasis frontman has made it clear in a new interview that he’s not a fan of the 25 singer’s music.

Gallagher was asked about the “When We Were Young” singer’s music in an interview with The Telegraph, but he wondered why he wasn’t asked about bands like Coldplay or U2 instead.

"If someone wants to know what I think of Adele, I’ll f***ing tell them,” he began. “I just don’t see what all the fuss is about. I don’t like her music. I think it’s music for f***ing grannies.”

He went on to deny he was trying to “whip up any kind of hysteria,” but rather give a “straight answer” to a question he’s been asked.

“It is interesting that no one ever talks about my love of U2 and Coldplay, but there you go,” he continued. “Lately, the one I’ve been asked about is Adele.”

It’s not just Adele’s music Gallagher has taken an issue with. He referred to today’s music as a “sea of cheese.”

Gallagher isn't one to shy away from controversial statements. In the past he has called Zayn Malik a "f--kin' idiot" for leaving One Direction.
