Even the most powerful people in the world have to relax with some entertainment in their downtime and President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama have just revealed their favorites of 2015.

In an interview with People, the Obamas first discussed their favorite music of the year, with Michelle noting that she can't get enough of Uptown Funk, while Barack named Kendrick Lamar's How Much a Dollar Cost.

Next, they discussed the year's best literature and President Obama said his favorite book of 2015 was Fates and Furies by Lauren Groff. This novel takes place over the course of 24 years and follows one marriage from the perspective of both the husband and wife. The First Lady's favorite was The Light of the World, a memoir in which Elizabeth Alexander reflects on the death of her husband.

Moving on to film, President Obama's favorite was The Martian, the science fiction story in which Matt Damon finds himself stranded on the red planet. The First Lady, on the other hand, expressed her love for Pixar's emotional animated movie Inside Out.

Finally, when asked their favorite show of the year, the president had a surprise choice: Cinemax's The Knick, the Steven Soderbergh drama which follows Dr. John Thackery (Clive Owen) and his work at the Knickerbocker Hospital in early 20th century New York. Michelle went with a comedy, ABC's Black-ish, which the president added he is also a fan of. That's probably exciting news for the show's star, Anthony Anderson, who has been trying to get the Obamas to make a cameo appearance.
