Kara fights Red Tornado, taking out her stress and anger about her life. She doesn’t stand down when she is asked to. The cyborg goes into emergency self-preservation mode; cloaking itself and flying away. Lucy’s father blames Supergirl for unleashing the cyborg on the city. He wants the robot destroyed and fires its creator, Morrow.

Alex goes to Max with the cyborg’s arm to ask for help locating it. He refuses to help.

Lucy and James are out to dinner with General Lane. When Lucy leaves the table briefly, the General tells James he’s not good enough for Lucy.

Cat yells at Kara for making her wait. Kara snaps and screams back. Cat tells her they’re leaving. She brings Kara to a bar and lectures her about women losing their temper in the workplace. She tells Kara she needs to find the root of her anger and confront it.

As Lucy, James and the General leave the restaurant, Red Tornado shows up. It tries to attack General Lane, but Supergirl shows up to stop it. The android sends a tornado down the street and flies away. Supergirl calms the tornado before it can do any damage.

Lucy thanks Supergirl for saving them, but her father just yells at her for letting it get away. Hank accuses General Lane of creating the cyborg to combat Kryptonians and says he owes Supergirl a thank you. Lucy and her father leave.

Max calls Alex. He mentions his parents and she tells him her father died on the job. Max tells her the cyborg isn’t working on its own. There’s someone controlling it.

Jimmy and Kara decide to work out their aggression with punching bags. James uses a bag; Kara uses a car. As they punch, they list the things that are making them angry. Kara realizes she’s upset that she’ll never have a normal life with a man who can know everything about her.

Alex realizes that Morrow is still controlling the android. She wants to attract the machine to them and track its signal back to Morrow. Kara’s job is to keep the cyborg occupied while Alex fights Morrow.

Red Tornado tries to attack Lucy’s father, but it’s a holographic diversion. Supergirl shoots the android to get its attention. Alex finds Morrow who tells her the only way to stop Red Tornado is to kill its creator. As Alex fights Morrow, the cyborg mirrors his moves against Kara. Eventually, Alex shoots Morrow and Red Tornado collapses. The android comes back and Alex tells Kara it’s become sentient. Winn tells Kara and Alex that he found an incomplete file about their father’s death. Dr. Danvers and another agent confronted a hostile alien and disappeared. They were presumed dead, but a month later the other agent showed up with amnesia, without a scratch on him. It was Hank. It was also Hank who deleted the files. Alex is afraid he killed Dr. Danvers.
