After serving 11 months of her 15-month sentence, Teresa Giudice has been released from the Danbury Federal Correctional Facility.
Giudice’s lawyer, James Leonard Jr., picked her up from jail early Wednesday morning, and despite recent reports, she won’t be checking into a halfway house before going home to New Jersey.
“She is not in a halfway house, nor will she be reporting to one,” Leonard told RadarOnline reports. “The balance of her home confinement will be monitored by the Federal Location Monitoring program.”
Giudice will reportedly go through great lengths to avoid being photographed leaving jail and is even rumored to have hired a decoy car to throw off the paparazzi who are waiting outside.
However, People has obtained photos of Giudice in the back of Leonard’s car on Wednesday morning.
Leonard told People, “She is free," after getting released at 5:01am.
