Steve Harvey’s Miss Universe gaffe on Sunday night might’ve been one of the most cringe-worthy TV moments in recent history. Will he recover from it? Absolutely – but it’s not something people will forget in the weeks to come.
Harvey had to suck it up and deliver the terrible mistake he made when he announced Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez Arevalo, as the winner when in reality, Miss Philippines, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, had won the pageant.
Former Miss Universe owner, Donald Trump, commented by saying Harvey is a “terrific guy” and “things like this do happen” on live television. However, he said he would’ve made Miss Colombia and Miss Philippines co-winners if he still owned the Miss Universe pageant.
