Two and a Half Men star, Holland Taylor, who played Evelyn Harper on the former hit CBS sitcom, has revealed she’s in a committed relationship with a woman.

Taylor, 72, who played Peggy Peabody on The L Word, spoke about it candidly on WYNC’s Death, Sex & Money, denying she’s coming out of the closet because she’s never hid it.

“I haven’t come out because I am out,” she said. “I live out.”

She was asked about the idea of marriage, but admitted “given my generation it would not be something that would automatically occur to me.” She also declined to publicly say her girlfriend’s name.

"There's a very big age difference between us," she would only say. "Which I'm sure shocks a lot of people, and it startles me.”

Taylor went on to discuss the possibility of marrying her partner, saying as of now it’s been a “very casual conversation.”

“It would be a very private thing,” she added. “I would not do that publicly. But as a symbol, as a pledge, as a plighting one's troth I would see it — that it would be a wonderful thing to do.”
