Will Ferrell is known as Buddy the Elf around Christmas time, but he modernized his Christmas persona on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday when he appeared as the new and improved Santa.
His new version of Santa Claus wears a Blue Tooth clip on his ear, bleach blonde hair with a faux Mohawk, a sleeveless Santa suit top and some Hawaiian print bathing suit shorts.
“The Kris Kringle we all grew up with is old and lame,” Ferrell said. “Dude looks like someone's weird grandpa. Kids today are demanding a newer, hipper, more bada-- Santa Claus."”
The new and improved Santa also doesn’t pay any mind to a “Naughty or Nice” list. To get gifts, all you have to do is be in the “Drone Zone.” Santa will order the gifts online and deliver them to houses via drone.
