The Super Bowl is in a week and a half, so you know what that means. Companies will start unveiling their commercials for the big night. Amazon is getting in on the action finally with their first ad.
The commerical is specifically for the Amazon Echo, the wireless speaker with wi-fi connectivity that allows it to answer any of your questions. Former 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin and former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino are featured in the spot.
“Echo has had an amazing reception from customers over the past year,” Neil Lindsay, vice-president of Amazon Devices, said in a statement to USA Today. “We thought the Super Bowl was a great chance to tell even more people about what Echo and Alexa can do, and have some fun while doing it.”
In addition to Amazon, Pokemon will be featured in their own first Super Bowl ad.
The Super Bowl between the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos is set for Feb. 7 at Levi’s Stadium.
