Stars, they’re just like us… unless you ask them to sit in coach.
Actress Andie MacDowell took to social media to complain about being moved from her seat in first class to a seat in coach on her American Airlines flight on Friday.
"@AmericanAir HELP I paid for first class & they put me in tourist because of my dog that I pre-booked & paid for,” MacDowell’s tweet read.
MacDowell also attached a picture from her new seat on Twitter.
After receiving backlash for complaining about her seat, MacDowell explained that she was upset she did not get what she paid for.
“I'm very happy flying in coach I'm happy on a bus or the subway but if I play for first class, that's where I want to be, that was the point,” she wrote.
MacDowell continued to try and explain her previous tweets, while also promoting kindness on Twitter.
“Lessons learned never, complain on Twitter & don't pay for first class on American Airlines, only express gratitude,” MacDowell said. “Can we move on now.”
