After being featured on three seasons of American Horror Story in a row, Angela Bassett will keep her streak going next year.

In an interview with E! News after the Golden Globes, creator Ryan Murphy said he recently began to tell actors who they will be playing next season. He mentioned Bassett as one of the returning cast members. It's not clear yet who she'll be, but apparently Bassett's reaction to finding out was to exclaim in shock and confusion, "What?"

American Horror Story is currently wrapping up its fifth season. It was renewed for a sixth in November, although it has not been announced what the plot will be. Lady Gaga has expressed interest in returning, but no deal is in place.

Speaking of Gaga, after her big Golden Globe win, Murphy was ecstatic.

"I was so thrilled for her because I think it's something that she wanted since she was a child... to be an actor," he said. "She was a great collaborator and a great pro...and I never met a performer that the cast and crew loved as much as her."

Murphy also noted that Gaga told him she wanted to be an actor but always tanked her auditions, and so he did not make her audition for American Horror Story.
