Billy Joel, Jimmy Fallon and J.K. Simmons perform ‘The Longest Time’ (Video)

Jimmy Fallon had Billy Joel on The Tonight Show last night and, while audiences at home did get to see one performance, there was another that didn’t make the broadcast.

Between a commercial break while filming the episode, Joel and Fallon spontaneously broke into an a capella performance of “The Longest Time.” Actor J.K. Simmons was also a guest on the show and made sure he joined the legendary Piano Man and his band for the song.

Also while on the Tonight Show, Joel performed a song that isn’t part of his catalog. He sang The Rolling Stones’ “Beast of Burden” with Fallon and The Roots. Of course, Fallon couldn’t resist doing a Mick Jagger impression.

Lastly, Joel announced that his SiriusXM radio channel is doing a relaunch. He said that he will be much more involved.
