Cate Deeley and her husband, Patrick Kielty, welcomed their first child together last week. Deeley took to Twitter to announce the new addition to their family.
“Beyond delighted to announce the birth of our baby boy last week,” Deeley tweeted on Tuesday. “All doing well & we couldn't be happier... 3 really is the magic number!”
The So You Think You Can Dance host announced her pregnancy on Twitter back in September. “Exciting news,” she wrote at the time. “Paddy and I are so happy to be expecting our first child in the Spring….. Lucky us.”
She told People at the time if it weren’t for the show, she wouldn’t have publicly announced her pregnancy. She also would’ve given herself more time to announce it, but she was live on air every week and it got harder to hide it.
“To be perfectly honest, I wouldn’t have even announced it to anybody if I hadn’t been doing a live TV show,” she said.
Deeley and Kielty tied the knot in 2012.
