Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, has an intriguing way to spend the offseason. He will be starring in an E! dating series with a whopping 50 women competing for him.
Catching Kelce is set to air later this year, reports Deadline, and will be filmed in Los Angeles. Kelce will be joined by his famous friends and family, who will help him choose his lifelong “teammate.”
In a twist, the women will stay in a house and they get to decide who goes on the group dates. (Apparently, all 51 people can’t go on a date together.) Kelce also picks who gets to stay in the house and who has to leave. This is a bit like the Bachelor, except with way more contestants at the start.
“On top of being a well-respected athlete, Travis has a fun-loving, over the top personality that draws people to him, and we are excited to give our viewers an up-close look at his search for love,” Jeff Olde, EVP, Programming and Development at E!, told Deadline.
Kelce has been in the NFL since 2013 and has played in 16 games for two seasons in a row. He will be participating in the Pro Bowl on Sunday in Hawaii. The Chiefs made it to the postseason as a Wild Card team, but lost in the divisional round to the Patriots.
